IGS Electrical designed and manufactured a bespoke Fan Control Panel for a commercial ventilation system in Southampton. The project required a fully assembled control station capable of operating six inverter-driven ventilation fans, each with independent on/off switching and variable speed control.
The completed panel was manufactured, tested and delivered ready for installation by the client’s mechanical installation team.
Bespoke Control Panel Design
The control panel was designed to provide straightforward operation while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
Each fan was provided with:
- Individual rotary isolator
- Variable speed control
- Clearly labelled controls
- Durable industrial enclosure
- Professional engraved identification labels
The layout allows operators to quickly identify and adjust each individual ventilation fan.
Fully Pre-Wired & Ready for Installation
To reduce installation time on site, the complete panel was fully pre-wired before delivery.
Every control cable was soldered, terminated and clearly identified, allowing the installation engineers to simply connect each labelled cable to its corresponding inverter and fan.
This approach significantly reduced installation time while minimising the possibility of wiring errors.
Quality Manufacturing & Testing
Before leaving our workshop, the complete control panel was inspected and electrically tested to verify correct operation.
Supplying control panels fully assembled and pre-tested helps ensure reliable commissioning once installed on site while reducing disruption to the client’s project programme.
